it is a good practise to mention the version and the platform on which you are working..
1. I believe from V 6 onwards Linux is also supported .. Config Mgr need to be present only where the toolkit is present. In V 6 you DONOT need a config Mgr DB .. I believe it uses cloudscape as the in memory DB
2. You should read through the basics of the architecture of the product. At least a minimal effort should be made to understand the things on your own. The arcitecture of the WBIMB product has been well documented and is available easily (hint: google).
