-h MaximumHandleLimit The maximum number of handles that any one application can have open at the same time. default is 256

Can any one can give bit more explanation..what all cases this parameter is important .

I don't think there's much more to say. It's the number of handles that any given application can have on a given connection. Handles are returned by things like MQCONN and MQOPEN and etc.

Generally, you should ignore this parameter and only adjust it or consider it if your developers tell you that they've started running out of handles.
