Has anyone used MSCS Clustering to cluster their Config Manager's? We are looking at using MSCS Clustering to create an Active/Passive Config Manager pair in each of our datacenters. I wanted to know of any pitfalls or even if this can be done.
It's not necessary to have a configmgr running most of the time.
It doesn't impede anything if configmgr goes crashes for an hour or two until you can restore it from backups (HINT HINT). _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
There shouldn't be anything very complicated about doing it, though. Other than making sure that you get the runtime working directory on shared disk, so that the confmgr private database files move. And moving the qmgr. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
