HI,
I got "unable to read workbench state" as soon I start MQ explorer, start it via start/program under windows.
Running 6.02.0 on windows server 2003, and it have worked for over a year, this happend suddenly.
I found the same problem in the forum , but no solution, one suggestion was to delete the workbench.xml file, found in the workspace directory, well the workspace directory I can´t find and the only workbench xml files I found is "contexts_workbench.xml" it´s a bounch of them, seems to have to do with documention.

First off, go to "Window"->"Reset Perspective".
Second off, it's probably not workbench.xml you want to delete. It's probably either the metadata folder or the plugin preferences files inside metadata in the workspace. Or switch to a different workspace. If you don't see these options, then go to Preferences->WebSphere MQ Explorer - and change it to open in an Eclipse workbench rather than as a standalone app.
Thirdly, try strmqcfg -c before doing the things I listed in "secondly". _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Right, that's the metadata folder I mentioned in my "secondly". _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
