Like IBM MQ series service in windows, is there any particular porcess to check whether the MQ is running in linux???

If you're monitoring only the MQSeries service on Windows, then you're not monitoring anything particularly useful.

If it's down, you know there's a problem. But otherwise, you don't know anything at all about the state of your qmgrs.
