HI all
I am trying to install the file extender node(setupwin32.exe),but in the starting i am getting an error
err:Unable to install IBM WebSphere Message Broker File Extender: Patch is associated with a product that is not installed on target machine.
can anyone suggest me what are the pre requisites required before installing it into my system
I am having wbimb6.0,wbimq5.3 installed in my system |

Sounds like you have tried to install a fixpack for MBFE rather than the base code.

if u r mb is if 6.0 you need to add fixpack2 |

I think he's recommending you apply fix pack 2 to the message broker.
I'd recommend that as a minimum level.
