Hi All,
I have a 2GB intel xeon machine running broker 6.0.0.3 and toolkit 6.0.2
I have a bar file with 5 msg flows and 10 msg sets...nothing big ..
Everytime I make a small change and refresh the bar file. It takes ages to after i save the bar file.
Any suggestions to speed up this process or do I need more RAM
I am wasting a lot of time doing this process and its a pain in the....
someone pls help...

| It will probably depend on the complexity of these objects. If you look at the details after adding files to the BAR, it should tell you the time it took to add each object. This should tell you which file(s) have performance problems. |

no, the problem is that since version 6.0.2 of the toolkit the bar file contains 2 log files.
If you clear those before saving it, it will go as fast as it should be. |

Hi PieterV,
I am also facing delays while adding projects to BAR files and while trying to save modified files.
Can you please tell me where to find the 2 log files assiciated with the BAR file? Is it possible to clear the log files from the Toolkit or do I need to do it from the file system?

Either just delete the entire bar file and build a new one, or if you're on the 6.0.2.x Toolkit, there are two new panes in the bar file editor, "User log" and "system log". These each have buttons to clear the log.

Thanks Jeff. I am in version 6.2.0 version of the Toolkit. I am able to see the 2 new panes in the BAR file editor.
