Hi 2 all
I hav some douts relating to clusters :
1. How many clusters can we create in a system?
Im working with stand alone system. im trying to create cluster. but its requesting for remote queue manager. so above questions created in my mind.

Have you considered reading the manual?
There is one called WebSphere MQ Clusters.
Look into that. If you have difficulties understanding it... You'll find help here! |

Then you've a) created the cluster incorrectly, b) are using the cluster incorrectly or c) have misunderstood what the cluster is for. I echo the recommendation that you go through the Clusters manual and use the examples to gain a greater understanding of what's going on.
If you still have a problem after that, post a specific question. Not "how do I set this cluster up". _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

An MQ Cluster is a collection of Queue Managers. Those Queue Managers do not have to be on seperate machines. You can have a cluster of 5 QMs all living on your laptop, but they do all have to listen on seperate ports.
