I am running WMQ V6 with csd 02 on WINXP. I want to start the trigger monitor using custom services
I created a new service as follow
Service name: TRM
Service control Manual
STart command : 'C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\bin\runmqtrm.exe'
Start args: -m MYQMGR -q INITQ
StdOut:'c:\myout.txt'
StdErr:'c:\myerr.txt'
Service Type: Command Type
When I start the service manully using the explorer, I got an error popup
saying "AMQ4056 Command failed"
The StdOut or StdErr file is not created and there is no error in the event viewer.
AMQERR01.log shows
While attempting to access the file 'c:\myout.txt' the error The filename,
directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. occurred.
I don't see anything wrong with 'c:\myout.txt' , Any help ? |

Could it be that the user you are running under has no rights to c:\ so the log file can't be accessed / created ?? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Do I have to worry about this under Windows xp? anyway the logon ID has admin right. Explorer is started by the logon user. Not sure what ID is used by the custom service |

Move you log files to somewhere the service user has access to. (user running mqtrigger) _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
