Hi,
I am getting the following error log frequently

06/12/02 12:50:46 PM
AMQ9209: Connection to host ' m/c name(2.134.xxx.xxx)' closed.
EXPLANATION:
An error occurred receiving data from 'm/c name (2.134.xxx.xxx)' over
TCP/IP. The connection to the remote host has unexpectedly terminated.
ACTION:
Tell the systems administrator.

Manoj,
this can, for example, happen if an MQClient application does not call MQDISC or gets Ctrl-C'ed.

I've also seen this error between queue managers when people do contact admin things like trip over an ethernet cable (no, it wasn't me! ) or change the IP address of a machine hosting a queue manager whose channels were defined using IP, not DNS (overzealous sys admin) _________________ Brandon Duncan

Hi,
Actually these queues and channels are not defined by me. These are made as part of MQseries workflow installation. Earlier i assumed that the TCP/IP connection could 've gone down momentarily. But i got this error quite frequently for a particular pair of client/server system.
