Hi,

I am new to z/os but have knowledge of mq. I have gone through introductin manuals but found it abit difficult to understand on the first reading.

I want to refer to Sample programs CSQ4BCX1 in library SCSQC37S. But I am unable to locate it.

The method i used to locate this is:

On The ISPF/PDF primary Option Menu: I typed 3.4 on the option.
then, i typed *.SCSQ37S at dsnamelevel.

I am not sure what the thlqual for my mq installation is. Thats why I have used the '*'.

I have two questions:
1. How do i know what my thlqual is?
2. Is this the right procedure for finding library SCSQ37S?.

Find the HLQ from looking at the JCL of MQ address spaces using SDSF

SYS1.MQM is a good bet.
