Hi,

I wanted to put trace on one of my QM running on WinXP machine, and started it using MQ6.0 explorer...(Is there any way to put trace only on Single QM running on Win? ...on Win, strmqtrc command doesn't have -m option to do so)

I was expecting .TRC to be generated in C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\trace dir, but i found many "AMQ636.0 - IBM DB2 object" files created.

Now i am wondering why MQ is generating .object files instead of .TRC trace files ?

Can somebody throw some light here?

Regards

They are .trc files. It's just that DB2 registers that extension to Winblows.

Cheers,
