I have two machine in network( say, Machine A and Machine B). Machine A has MQ installed. Queue manager created in Machine A. Machine B has some paplication (say App 1). But Machine B has no MQ installation.

Now App 1 would like to connect to some queue in Queue manager hosted in Machine A.

Without any MQ installation in Machine B, is it possible for app 1 to connect MQ by either of following way?

1)defining "MQSERVER" environment variable Machine B with ip/port of Machine A
2)Creating Client and server connection in queue manager of Machine A, then geting the amqclchl.tab from Machine A and putting that in to Machine B with environment variables declaration.

Machine B doesn't know how to connect, communicate.
You have to install MQ client on Machine B.

You seem to have read correctly....but include install MQClient as the first step...
