Is there a utility that can be used to restore processed messages by reading the linear MQ logs. This is to cover a possible scenario where the weblogic application has no record of sent messages and those messages need to be resubmitted.

MQ 6.0.2.0 on Solaris 5.8

Only if the messages went into the logs in the first place would this be at all possible.

And the only tool that I'm aware of is from Cressida...

In general, this is not a good solution for a business level problem. The app should store messages in an archive.

Thanks Jeff. I will take a look at their products as an emergency measure.
