Hi MQ experts,

please could some body shed so me light on AccountingToken in message header or pointers to some articles depicting its usage. how does it impact the message flow / stats etc .. ?

You'll find it described in the Application Programming Reference. In short, the queue manager sets it to various values according to platform with the intention of your system using it to identify which message was sent by what user/system/application and allowing chargeback across departmental or project budgets. Aside from setting it, the queue manager ignores it.

I've not heard anyone use the word "chargeback" in 5 years, and even when it was a popular buzzword (I use the word popular guardedly) I've never seen this field actually used.
