In Broker 5, I get occasional errors like this:

Code:

Root (TYPE_NAME) :
  RecoverableException (TYPE_NAME) :
    File (TYPE_NAME_VALUE)  = '/build/S500_P/src/DataFlowEngine/ImbMqInputNode.cpp'
    Line (TYPE_NAME_VALUE)  = 3218
    Function (TYPE_NAME_VALUE)  = 'ImbMqInputNode::eligibleForBackout'
    Type (TYPE_NAME_VALUE)  = 'ComIbmMQInputNode'
    Name (TYPE_NAME_VALUE)  = 'SA07143/SA07143_PERSON_EPI#FCMComposite_1_1'
    Label (TYPE_NAME_VALUE)  = 'SA07143.SA07143_PERSON_EPI.EPI Person Input'
Text (TYPE_NAME_VALUE)  = 'Warning on MQGET. Propagating a message to the failure terminal'
    Catalog (TYPE_NAME_VALUE)  = 'BIPv500'
    Severity (TYPE_NAME_VALUE)  = 3
    Number (TYPE_NAME_VALUE)  = 2651

in my Input Node. Occurs about once per 100-500 messages. Is there any way I can see what kind of MQGET warning that occurs, so that I can figure out what is wrong with these messages?

(I'm just muddling my way through mesage flow implementation, and don't know much about MQ or Broker administration.)

Hi

Read this,

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmbhelp/v6r0m0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.etools.mft.doc/ac34690_.htm

Fail (other)
Propagate to the Failure terminal. If the Failure terminal is not connected, the broker throws an exception and returns control to the closest previous node that can process it.

Thanks and Regards

Yes, I know that the input node propagates to the failure terminal if it gets a warning from MQGET. In fact, the printout above is from a trace node attached to the failure terminal (we have our own, homewritten custom java trace node, so that we get log rotation etc - that's why the format is unfamiliar). I just want to know why MQGET throws a warning on a particular message. Something is wrong with the message, but what? Or is something wrong with the queue?
