Has anyone defined a Java custom Input Node using SmartGuide? Apparently it requires the creation of an input terminal which should not be necessary as it is an input node. Also it should mimic the MQInput & MQeInput etc. nodes which do not have input terminals.
So the question is do I use SmartGuide to configure an input node?

There is a sample code for custom input plug-in in Redbook "WebSphere MQ Integrator Deployment and Migration". In that book they have used SmartGuide to define plug-in into Configuration Repository with input terminal. It will not cause any harm if you have input terminal to your Input Node.
If you want to get rid of the input terminal, remove the reference to the InputTerminal from plug-in definition file created by SmartGuide before you check-in. _________________ Kiran
