Hi all,
I have problem with FlowDebugPerspective. Though I am able to successfully deploy the bar file and start the message flows, I am not able to view the DataFlow in the FlowDebugPer.

When I tried to remove the deployed children from the Broker and redeploy,I got an error message;

'' Cannot Communicate with Flow Engine;
Agent is inactive.
Contact IBM '' .

Would any of you know the probable reason for this error. I tried unistalling and reinstalling Agent controller, stop and start broker, disconnect and connect configmgr.

Thanks,
irony

Hi irony,

You get this message

Quote:
'' Cannot Communicate with Flow Engine;
Agent is inactive.
Contact IBM '' .

when the flow has been successfully added to the Debug.

If you are not able to view it, then there could be something wrong with the deployment, or that all the compoments are not deployed...

Regards.

I am having the same 'Flow Agent Inactive' error. How do I tell what RAC version I have? I know I have Message Broker ToolKit version 6.0.2.

Try this

Stop RAC
Stop Broker configMgr

and then

Start RAC
Start broker and configMgr

hope this should resolve the problem

your error message says that Agent is inactive..
So check if its services are running or not.. if not then
stop agent controller , stop brk , stop cfg mgr
AND
start agent controller , start brk and start cfg mgr

Thanks to everyone who posted responses. I stopped the RAC, Broker and Config Mgr in that order and restarted the RAC first and then the Broker and Config Mgr. Still receiving the Inactive error.

What Java file should I have used when I first setup the RAC?

I rebooted our zLinux server, where our broker and RAC was installed on, and restarted the RAC, Broker & Config Manager. The RAC is working fine now.
