Can any one suggest me where to find / edit the ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES in mq 5.3 of WINDOWS 2000.

Hm.
Do you mean ?
What do you want to edit, Windows environment variables or mq 5.3 configuration ?

Same place you find all the other environment variables in Win2000...

Do any environment variables have a path? 
MQ, as I indicated, puts it's environment variables in the same place as the rest of them on Windows. They are likewise accessed identically.
Are you trying to resolve a particular issue? You may get better responses if you enounciate your problem rather than asking round the problem.
