Hi,
In my DEV environment, we are facing an issue related with DEPLOYMENT. When i look at the syslog.log, it says that the DEPLOYMENT is in progress. But it does not allow us to deploy us. It keeps saying the same.
This is the case, what do we do normally?
1) I tried to Cancel the deployment
2) Stop/Start the Broker/Config mgr
But i dont see any progress on it.
3) Should i go ahead and delete the respective entry from the CBROKER table? is this right approach to do so?
Anyone can help me out? _________________ --SRK-- |

There are several/many posts here that describe 'fixing' the CBROKER table and yes many people do that. However, unless you have found out the reason why the failed in the first place you may very well end up back where you started.
- One very common cause of this is the MQ channels to/from the Broker are not setup properly and don't autostart when a message arrives on the channel xmit q.
- Another point to look at, is the problem just confined to this broker? Does the flow depoy to other brokers?
- Are you using any additional nodes eg Sendmail
- What do any relevant messages in the system log(s) say?
- Are all the relevant databases properly configured (more of a runtime issue but worth a check)
- Finally, what version of Broker are you using including fixpack levels, plus what platform are you using. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |
