Hi All,

I m getting this error message in the event viewer.This happens if I just do a deploy of a simple message flow. Nothing fancy in the message flows.just a MQinput node , MQoutput node and a compute node..which does nothing.

I m running the broker V6.0.0.3 on Windows 2003 server w/ SP 1 .



XXXXXXXXXX.EXE_WF ) Source field ''410064006d0069006e006900730074007200610074006f007200'' is too long for a target field of length '12' when converting from unicode to codepage '437'.

When the character data in the source field is converted to the target codepage, the resulting character string was longer than the defined length of the target field.

Correct the application or compute expression that generated the message. Ensure that the definition of the field in the output message is correctly specified bearing in mind the codepage required for the message and check that the origin of the data within the source field is providing correct data.

And there are no message sets deployed..

any help on this would be very much appreciated.

Cut off one char. The original looks like it is 13 char long in unicode...
Could it be the username ? (limited to 12 chars)?

which is 13 chars..

This is why most people use "mqm" as the administrator....
