Is it possible to remove uncommitted messages from a queue, short of recycling the Queue Manager ?

We have a scenario where the client application drops the connection to the QMgr in the middle of an XA transaction, WMQ does not appear to rollback the transaction and an uncommitted message appears on the queue.

It is not possible to browse these messages, but they count towards the max queue depth on these queues.

Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Art.

If you can display the non committed transactions using dspmqtrn you should be able to resolve them one way or the other (i.e. commit /rollback).

Enjoy
