Can any one way suggest how to create a catalog file for user defined exceptions and how to configure it?

I have defined my user defined exceptions in a properties file. The local computer may have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages of the properties file while runtime.Any one please suggest how to create a dll file from the properties file.

Also please suggest how to make use of catelog file on windows and Unix.

It's OS dependant, you have to different things on Windows than on Unix.

The steps for making a message catalog on Windows are listed here:

On unix, you need to make an XPG4 message catalog, and the info center doesn't include steps for that. Presumably Google does, somewhere.

Note that the OS in question is the *broker runtime* OS, not the Toolkit OS.
