OK , I have gone through the mqcluster book but I am missing something here. We have the following . A queue manager QM2 which is part of mq cluster CL1 , this queue manager is not a full repository cluster , only a partial . I have built another mq cluster CL2 , I want to use QM2 queue manager in this cluster as a partial repos. After reading the manual , I found it , this can be done using the Namelist , which I never had to do before , it sounded cool and will save a lot of time. So you create a name list and add the queues to a namelist instead of a cluster. However , what I am not able to see in the manual is , what will happened to the channel when you create a namelist ?? , since the QueueManager is part of CL1 already and I have clussndr and clusrcvr channel for CL1 , what do I do for CL2 ,, do I need to only create sender ?? , If I am to create another cluster sender and receiver , what will happen to the cluster name field in the cluster channel?

the namelist is for cluster names and can be used
to indicate a qmgr is FR for more then one cluster (use REPOSNL instead of REPOS)
to indicate a queue is part of more then one cluster (use CLUSNL instead of CLUSTER)
the channel is used for more then one cluster (use CLUSNL instead of CLUSTER)

you would need some experimenting for your channel that already has CLUSTER(CL1) going to CLUSTER(' ') CLUSNL(CLLIST)

I would try the FR first,
then the custer receiver channels
then the cluster sender channels
