Hi All,

We are using below configuration of WMB.
Toolkit - V6.0.2
Broker Server - V6.0
OS - Windows (Both toolkit and Server)
One Broker is created on the remote server
6-8 developers are connected to the same domain

We are having an issue related to deployment. As per the document and our experince we know that at a time only one deployment is possible for the broker. Hence we are facing problems like if Developer A deploying something on the broker then all other developers has to wait till the deployment completes. Once the deployment over then only other users/developers are allowed to deploy their source.

What configuration we need to do to over come such a problem so that more than one develoepr can deploy simultaneously.

Thanks in advance
SAT

There are two possible options for environment setup
First option is broker is at remote location.
At the same location you can have one terminal server (Win or Linux)
Toolkit is installed on terminal sever and you can access terminal server from our local PC's using RDC.
You can have broker database either on broker server or on terminal server depending upon your requirement.
In this case I think you may face problem of parallel deployment

The other option is

Your users can have toolkit installed on your local PC. There is no terminal server.
Broker, CFG mgr and DB2 are on remote server (for WMB 6).
Each user can create domain connection on his local PC to remote broker. So I think in this case users can access broker through independent domain connections.

You can't have two outstanding deployments to the same broker, but you can queue them up if you issue them from within the same environment.
I wrote a dW article on this subject: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere/library/techarticles/0611_lucas/0611_lucas.html
I have the Java source available if it proves useful.
