Hi all, i need a small clarification. going through message broker esql document, i noticed this:
Unlike parsers:
Where the source and target messages have different folder structures at root level, you cannot make an exact copy of the message source. Instead, the unlike-parser-copy views the source message as a set of nested folders terminated by a leaf name-value pair. For example, copying the following message from XML to MRM:
produces a name element Name3, and a name-value element called Name31 with the value Value31. The second XML pcdata (Value32) cannot be represented and is discarded.
<Name3><Name31>Value31</Name31>Value32</Name3>
I tested this, but the actual result was different. i dint see any attribute with name Name31( since it is leaf element) and even 'Value32' is also shown in output.input is XML and output is MRM. Can some one tell me what wrong i might have done. |

It's just possible that the docs are incorrect on a couple of details. What is your objective? |

Thanks Kimbert, Iam preparing for MB 6 Solution Developer, so Iam going through the whole documentation and practising. And, by what you mean probably I will find more errors in the docs. I would be glad if you give any suggestion so that I can prepare good. |

I think what you are doing is good. It seems like an effective strategy for learning about Message Broker. Feel free to raise similar questions if you find that the docs are unclear in other areas. |
