The requirement is:
Mainframe application generates a well formatted batch file and places on to the NFS (network file system). WMB message flow should take it everyday at a specific time and process it.
I imported the ia0x fixpac, but to make it work, I think someother client need to initiate the flow.
I also see that IBM provides WMB File Extender. I read the article on how to use it and it is:
"The File Input node lets you initiate message flow activity by placing an input file in a directory local to the run-time broker."
BUT the file that the mainframe application generates is placing in NFS and not in a directory local to broker runtime.
How can I achieve it??. Any idea? |

It really means "accessible as a local file system".
That means that if you have an NFS Mount that is available on BOTH the mainframe AND the broker machine, then it's mostly okay. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

THe FTP Server node would let the mainframe FTP a file directly into the broker.
The mainframe would have to have code written to perform the FTP transfer.
You'd be better off, likely, putting a real FTP server somewhere that could write to broker's file system, and use the File Extender. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
