On Windows 2000, on MQ Explorer in version 5.3 (CSD 13), I've found that if you attempt to create a custom service and then hit cancel, it still creates it somewhere and tries to act on the incomplete definition.
Also, if you try to delete a custom service, and then restart the queue manager, it still attempts to reference the previous definition. The only way I have found to really cure this is to go in and alter the registry entries for this.
Is there some fix for this? _________________ IBM Certified MQSeries Specialist

No. "sc" is a windows command for "service control". _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

I can't find a sign of any such command on that system. _________________ IBM Certified MQSeries Specialist

I believe SC was not introduced until after Win2000 was released. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

This is interesting, but I think we've gotten off on a tangent. I was wondering if there was a fix the MQ Explorer's quirky behavior on 5.3? _________________ IBM Certified MQSeries Specialist
