Hello,
We have made a 'fresh install' of WBI MQ v5.0.0 in a Windows 2000 (SP4) server
We're installing the fixpacks, starting from 3. All goes Ok, wizard finishes Ok and all seems fine.
When opening the Message Broker Toolkit it tells us that 'updates are available' only to see a big error:
Quote: |
"Common Utilities Translation (5.0.2): Feature requires plug-in "com.ibm.etools.common.frameworks.feature(5.0.2), or compatible"
|
Any idea how to resolve this? we cant move forward... we want to go up to CSD09
Thanks!

You should only install the latest FixPack, they are always cumulative.
Also, please start migrating to v6. You'll be much happier in the short term, as v5 goes out of support in September. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Thanks for the reply.
We've just tried CS09, got the same issue
the update is 'pending' due to the error mentioned. Any idea how to clear that one?

Well, if you installed CSD9 on top of an already broken installation, I'm not surprised it was still broken afterwards.
No, I don't particularly have an idea how to solve this problem, other than the usual three things
1) Troubleshoot
2) Search
3) Open a PMR. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
