When i try to execute mqlicense.sh in SUN Solaris 8
2 Problems occurred.

1) It says /var/mqm is not mounted.?

I've created the directories.
How to mount /var/mqm directory... to which mount point.?

2) It says MQJava is installed..It should be un installed.
Whether i can un-install it through pkgrm

Pls help.

Involve your Unix Admin...
These are OS related questions that have little to do with MQ in itself...

Enjoy

These messages do not come from mqlicense.sh but from the installation scripts invoked by pkgadd.

The recommendation in the Quick Beginnings manual is that you should have a separate filesystem mounted at /var/mqm rather than /var/mqm just being a directory within the/var filesystem. The message is warning you that this is not the current situation. If you are happy with the installation creating and initialising the directories under /var/mqm in the /var filesystem then reply accordingly.

Yes - the function provided by the mqjava product is now integrated with WebSphere MQ, you need to uninstall mqjava ( Note case ) using pkgrm.

Thanks fjb_saper & Philip Morten ...
The problem has been resolved.

1) var/mqm is enough for me..
2) un installed through pkgrm mqjava.
