Hi, I am trying to install MQ Server version 5.3 on WinXP Pro SP2, but I always get the following error:
"One or more problem occurred. Review the MSI log file for details (AMQ4739)".
The first error appeared in the log file:

I've read the related topics on this theme, but I couldn't get help of them.
I also suppose that it could be the sharing violation, according to ibm support topic http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21192140
but i can't figure out how to prevent violation.
Please, help me out.

Hi
it seams that the MSI installer is the problem
try to do one of the following
1. kill the MSI installer process from the task manager and restart the MSI service
2. update the MSI installer from Microsoft ad reboot the computer
it should solve the problem. for me it did the job |
