Hi,
I am currently configuring MQ Series to be used as a foreign JMS provider in WebLogic. I have following information about the MQ Series:
Channel Name : SVR.YYYY.ZZZZ
Host IP : XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
Port : 1414
Queue Manager Name: ZZZZ
Queue Name : AAAAAA.BBBB.XML.C
I am new to MQSeries. I think the connection url would be 'ChanelName/TCP/Host IP'. Please confirm if this is correct and I would like to know the instance of connection factory to be used in this case.
Please let me know if you need any other information.
This is specific to WebLogic. Do a search on WebLogic and read your weblogic manuals.
You might need to set up a file context for Weblogic to read from, and in that case the url required is that needed for the context provider to find the context....

I think that's pretty close.
You'll find detailed information in the Clients manual on the connection you're trying to make, and more information on JMS in the Using Java manual. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
