Folks,
I am in a position where I need to forcibly remove a broker (V5 on AIX) from the config manager's (V6 on Windows) repository. I think my mistake was to deploy the topology after deleting the broker from the domain. All appeared to be OK though, so I deleted and recreated my broker (same name, qmgr etc.) but am unable to add it to the domain as the configmgr maintains it is waiting for a response from the deleted broker. I've tried cancelling deployments etc. but to no avail.
I'm on a customer site, so I can't simply blow everything away and start again.
With version 2.1 there was a 'last resort' script to remove all references to a broker from the configmgr's database - it basically deleted from the tables using the offending UUID. Jolly handy, and I've had to use it more than once! The question is, how do I achieve an equivalent effect with a V6 configmgr?
Any suggestions will be welcome. Thanks -

You can use the ConfigMgrProxyAPIExcerciser. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
