Hi, I am tasked to migrate WMQ configuration from an AIX node to a Redhat Linux box. What is the best way to do this? I have a hunch this type of questions probably has been asked a thousand times before. Please forgive me for not doing a thorough search

It is fairly straight forward if. Export your current configuration and then rebuild it on RHEL.

Most of the *nix systems are pretty similar. The biggest difference would be the init scripts. On RHEL you will use chkconfig to register them.

Are you having some specific problem?
