We are using WMQ 5.3. I'm used to setmqaut to controll access to different objects. One of the new things in 6.0.2 is a tool for handling this (as I understand it). Have just uppgraded one of the MQ servers on Windows to test it.

Hope you all excuse my stupid question but, WHERE IS THE TOOL??? Can't find it anywhere in the Eclipse admin tool

in the Eclipse Tool, select the Qmgr in the left hand pane and right click it, you should see "Object Authority" in the menu

Great! Stupid of me!

One strange thing. When I'm working remote the menu item is missing but if I'm running the admin tool on the actual machine it's there?!

Make sure you install MQexplorer 6.0.2 or later.
