Hi Guys.
Loooking for the BEST practice when designing a broker domain for development team. Shall i go head and install MB toolkit in each developer's m/c and put the both the configuration manager and Broker in a different m/c and at last the broker DB in another m/c. Please suggest _________________ Regards,

Let say you have few developers.(4).
What platform , you need to run in production .If its Unix or Z/OS,do u have any setup for Broker Dev sever and UAT then staging. If yes, do dev of flow in local machine windows(as usual)..once every thing ok..try to do unit testing in Broker running in Dev common box.If any dependency with other developers flow, this will help.
So the above case:Toolkit and broker running in local..then deploy to common dev server.
Otherwise:One machine if you have good hardware configuration, i mean RAM,CPU and etc...then each devlopers do the message flow development in local machine(using tool kit)..and deploy using toolkit connected to common machine where Broker is running.
If all ur developers have good configuration machines...then do it individual and deploy(if u have any process like common repository like CVS), Then deploy the bar file from CVS to Dev, then UAT AND staging and PROD...as per process. _________________ Jain Varghese |
