Hi,

I have a problem while configuring the queue triggering property.

If I cofigure queue property as follows
Trigger Control : On
Trigger type : Depth
Trigger Depth : 5
Trigger Message Priority:1
TriggerData:
Initaition Queu:INITAITION.QUEUE
Process Name: Process

After trigger executing once, the trigger control is getting off automatically, while the case is diffent while I use Every|First trigger type.

Please give me turnaround for the problem and if possible reason behind it.

One more query..
If Event property is configured for a Queue then where is the event generated and how we can catch those events?

Thanks

this is working as designed, when the event fires and you open the queue the trigger is turned off, because you already have the queue open for reading. when your app finishes and have read all messages the triggering needs to be turned on using MQSET and and then wait for the next 5 messages.

what's the logic in this case to wait for 5 messages on the queue?

vivek, there are plenty of samples, learn to use the search button (in the right hand corner of your screen), search for trigger and sample

I found this: http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10574&highlight=trigger+sample

queue events are written to event queues, again lots of information behind the search button
