I have two W2k server siting in each side of the firewall. One of the firewall rule I have to follow is any session had to be initiated from the inside. By using server/requester, I can send message from the outside to inside. But because the firewall block the communication initiated from outside, I have to set the server retry to 0, otherwise it will keep try and fail. Then I have to regularly check the channel if it is running if not I have to start it from the requester. Is there any configuration I can set up to automatic restart the requester channel when it stop. (the firewall will kill the session when the session idle in a certain amount of time) or any suggestion to code with such an enviroment. Any help will be appreciated.

Have a look at the Programmable System Management manual. Specifically, notice the queue manager events including channel stopped. This can be used to automaticlly restart a channel when one is dectected as being down. You have to write some code yourself but not too difficult.
