What happens to the performance if we deploy multiple message flows to a single execution group in a production environment.
Can we set the priority of message flows? |

No, you can not set priority for message flows within WMQI when you assign them to the broker.
Can you tell us why you might want to do that? _________________ Kiran

Execution group == process; message flow == thread within process. So performance depends a lot on the configuration of your machine and what your flows are doing. If your flows are compute-bound, and your machine has 2 cpus, you'll see little performance difference between 2 flows in 1 EG vs 1 flow in each of 2 EGs (also, in this scenario, your 1st flow throughput shouldn't be unduly affected by the addition of a 2nd).
As Kiran said - what is it you want to do? |
