Windows 2003 server. Couple messages in queue it will not let me clear because object is open. I know java pgm is running against it but do not know how to identify to kill it, short of reboot. Does anybody know?

open a dos window
type runmqsc
dis qstatus(queue-name) type(handle) all

this should tell you who has the program open.
On Unix it's easy enough to kill now, That's where I do the majority of my work.

If it's a well behaved program trying to get from the queue, then you could try get disabling the queue and see if the program quits too.
