Hi.
I am trying to migrate a couple of AIX boxes from MQ 5.3 to MQ 6.0. I want to know how to find the version of AIX on the boxes.
I tried uname -rv, which gave me version 5 and release 2. Does this mean it is AIX 5.2? also, can you tell me how to find out the maintenance level of the operating system? i think it should be 3 to be able to install MQ6.0.

You could also use oslevel command on AIX
