I am using an HTTP Input Form and submitting to my HTTPINPUT node via POST. The parsing works great by creating child elements in my MRM tree EXCEPT for the first element. It's getting ignored. For example, I get 'username=Frank&email=blahblah@phonenum=12345'. The username pair is getting ignored.

I did a system trace and it appears that the username= is getting recognized and the system does a search of the MRM tree and when not found, it discards it. For the subsequent data, the create child node is getting called to create those in the MRM tree. Very strange.

I'm specifying & as my delimeter and = as my tag delimeter. My Message set does not contain anything except a http_input record type..

Does anyone have a clue?

You do realize that MRM will discard your xml root tag?

This is, however, MRM.TDS and not MRM.XML....

TDS is possibly trying to use "username" as a message id.

Message ID? How can I confirm this?

Am I doing something unusual here? All I wanted to do is create a demo of using a web service by way of a simple HTTP form input.

Well, it would help to post the trace..

And certainly, you could open a PMR. It's likely something you're doing incorrectly, though.

But there's not enough info to know what.
