It's considered rude to double post.
The Passthrough node is used when you need to submit SQL or other commands directly to a database, typically something which can't be represented by ESQL or other means. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Hi Victor,
I was asking about the Passthrough Node and not PASSTHRU function.
Anyway thanks for your reply, but i think what you have sent is for the later and i needed more information on Passthrougn Node which is enables versioning of a subflow at run-time.
I hope you are clear this time _________________ BR,

Hi nthepak,
From Infocenter:
Quote: |
Using this node in a message flow
Use this node to identify a subflow. For example, if you develop an error processing subflow to include in several message flows, you might want to modify that subflow. However, you might want to introduce the modified version initially to just a subset of the message flows in which it is included. Set a value for the instance of the Passthrough node that identifies which version of the subflow you have included. |
This is more or less the only use of the passthrough node, to bring about versioning of your flows in runtime. I doubt if you can actually do a filtering like, if version of this flow is 1, then go into flow, else if 2 then leave...etc
Regards. |
