Hi All,

We are planning MQ security authorization in our organization. And our problem is MQ explorer has been installed on various developers desktop from where they can conect to the Broker Queue manager for message testing. We want to put access authorization to all the non-admin user. Is there any way we can limit the access authority through MQ Explorer. Or can i put read only security the for SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN channel, and will the developer be able to see the messages.

Is there any other way to implement security for this condition.

You can put an mcauser with inq and disp only authority on the channel.
You need to give him put authority for the SYSTEM.COMMAND.QUEUE though and GET authority for the SYSTEM.MQEXPLORER.MODEL queue... (names to be checked against your installation)

Create a different channel for the admins.
