We have run into a strange situation. When we set MQPMO_SET_IDENTITY_CONTEXT as an option for a put so that ApplicationIdentity can be pass along with the message. The outbound qmanager handles it just fine. The message is passed to a queue, where the IMCS Bridge picks it up, IMS processes the information, but the adapter fails with a 2035 with a ICH408I JOB(MBD1MSTR) message. This is mainframe(os/390). The problem appears to be that the IMS adapter job is sent back to authenticate against, rather than a id. If we remove the context option, all works ok. Has anyone seen this oddity, or know what a possible fix would be.
