Hello,

My Toolkit is not connecting with the Configuration Manager. Whenever i am trying to connect, its showing progress window and hangs there.
But connection is successfully establishing from Proxy API exerciser.

I have re-created my config manager and still failing.
Finally i have re-installed my MB and Toolkit but no result.
Could anybody show me some light on this issue.

Thanks,
Blackberry

The important question for me is 'what's different'. i.e. whether the toolkit is on the same machine as the CMP Exerciser, and using the same userid?
And are you using the same connection parameters; for example, specifying the full CM hostname?

(The version shouldn't matter; it's version 6 if the CMP Exerciser is involved, and the broker admin perspective has changed very little between fixpacks.)

I mean to ask for release level(6.0.2 or 6.0.0.X)? Doesn't toolkit and runtime needs to be at some supported levels?

Blackberry did you see any errors in Eventvwr?

Could this be a case where something has mangled LogonInfo.dll installation?

It's good practice to use same fixpack levels across components, but not always required. On v6 levels for instance, because the admin perspective is "just" a CMP application, cross-version compatibility is not really an issue.

Certainly could be, if this is a Windows toolkit and domains are required. But would be quite an unusual situation to get into.

Let's wait to hear from Blackberry.

Except IBM doesn't maintain them in sync. Toolkit is currently 6.0.2 and the Broker is 6.0.0.3.

Cheers,

I had left my office early on Friday.

My MB version is 6.0.0.1 and Toolkit version is 6.0.0 for Windows. Should i try for some fixpack. with that version preveously my toolkit was working fine.

Both MB and Toolkits are installed on same machine and under same user id. I had tried to use my ip instead of localhost and also tried to use my machine id for my domain.
I am getting nothing in event viewer.

On the same machine MQSI 2.1 is installed and running fine. When i work with 6.0 i usually keep the service for 2.1 broker and config mgr off.

I have tried to create default configuration from toolkit's welcome page but it fails saying that no broker runtime is installed. But as i said i have installed MB 6.0.0.1. That may be the cause of error.
How can i solve this error? Please help.

Update the toolkit, I think i've faced similar issues with 6.0.0.

Hi ,

Rather than trying to debug the above error, I would suggest you download the fixpack...always better to have a copy for the future...

http://www-306.ibm.com/software/integration/wbimessagebroker/support/
From this page you can search for the particular fixpack....

Regards.
