My client is looking to hire a Middleware Specialist for their offices in Harrisburg and Hershey PA. This is a fulltime opportunity with a major utilities firm.
International Information Technology Team Inc was incorporated in 1997 and headquartered in NJ. We work with major Fortune 500 clients. We specialize in ERP services with expertise in Peoplesoft, SAP and JD Edwards and Infrastructure projects. We also focus exclusively on HRIT through our subsidiary HRTechTeam (www.hrtechteam.com).We work closely with major clients and help them in staffing their HRIT needs.

Job details:
Middleware Specialist to provide ongoing infrastructure support to all testing and production iSeries, AIX,W2K, W2K3, environments for MSMQ (Microsoft Message Queue) and iSeries, AIX, W2K, and W2K3 environments for the MQSeries/WebSphere MQ middleware products (such as Broker and Workflow).
Skills
Complete understanding of Information Technology development practices.
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and make timely decisions
Advanced technical skills and understanding of :
Websphere MQ
Eclipse
Rational Change Control
Websphere Middleware monitoring products
Five years prior work experience in information technology, including two year work experience with middleware. Must have experience in all aspects of middleware lifecycle management.
Knowledge of technical requirements related to systems architecture (servers, database, web portals).
Basic knowledge of the supported Windows family, iSeries, AIX of operating systems to diagnose, troubleshoot, and recover middleware server support events.
Knowledge of middleware messaging technologies to diagnose, troubleshoot, and recover Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ) and WebsphereMQ events.
Knowledge of the supported versions of Internet Information Services (IIS) to diagnose, troubleshoot, and recover middleware server support events.
Knowledge of middleware messaging technologies to diagnose, troubleshoot, and recover Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ) and WebsphereMQ Workflow and Broker events.
