Does anyone know if the gskit used by WAS is independant from the gskit used by MQ or if they can potentially step on each other?

We installed gskit and keyman with 5.3 on a bunch (200+) of servers and never ended up using it. With 6.0 I don't want to step on WAS or have them step on me.

Any thoughts?
Cheers

Tom

This is dependent on the platform. Which OS are your servers using?

WebSphere MQ ships standard gskit install packages for those OS's, if the other products do the same you should end up with whichever is the higest level for each gskit Version installed. Note that versions of gskit can coexist on the same system - gskit 6 is independent of gskit 7.
