Hi all,
MQ 6.0 has been working fine on both AIX and Sun boxes for us. Suddenly one day, when i issue dspmq or dspmqver on both the systems, it throws the following error:

tkda0026/mqadmin->dspmq
exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program dspmq because of the following errors:
0509-150 Dependent module /usr/lib/libmqmcs_r.a(shr.o) could not be lo
aded.
0509-124 The program is a discontinued 64-bit object file.

tkda0026/mqadmin->dspmqver

How can i resolve this error? Why does this error show up on me all of a sudden? I know that there is no problem with the installation and both the machine types are 64-bit. Please advise. I highly appreciate your reply on this regard.

Hi

Please check the LIBPATH or LD_LIBRARY_PATH contents

and let us know, what the contents in that.

What changed on the servers? What maintenance was applied between when it worked and when it didn't?
