My client in Jacksonville, FL is currently in need of a Director of Networking Services.
- This individual will report directly to the Director of Information Technology.
- Starting salary for this position is $90,000 per year and all relocation expenses will be covered.
- Best candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Senior Executive IT management.
Please read below for futher details.
• Responsible for worldwide network systems including all data communications, LAN networking, leased lines, frame relay lines, modems, communication software, network security and telecommunications activities.
• Direct Jacksonville Data Center activities, operation of centralized computers, and direction of the personal computer help desk.
• Responsible for monitoring/troubleshooting the network operation and coordinating necessary communications training.
• Responsible for managing software distribution and negotiating for corporate wide desktop software and hardware purchases.
• Responsible for network planning, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Manage corporate wide electronic mail network Acts as technical advisor to division IT Managers for hardware/software/communications selections and operation.
• Works with Director, IT to formulate and track IT expense budget, monitor issues associated with procedural audits of IT activities, and provide assistance on special projects related to IT strategic planning. |
